There are a number of things in Minecraft  that you can add to your world to make it move, lively and good looking. One of such things that you can add to your gameplay is seagrass. Seagrasses look really good at the slopes or stairs that you have built in your world.

How to add Seagrass in Minecraft

1. Finding seagrass

The very first step towards adding seagrass to your space in Minecraft is, first of all finding it. Seagrass can mostly be found in water bodies, as these are a species of plant that thrives under water. 

You need to look out for the seagrass in the sides of the water bodies, under the oceans, and rivers. You can even reach out to the far side of the beaches under the currents.

For cutting the seagrass from the ground in both Windows 10 and Education edition of your gameplay in Minecraft, hold the  seagrass by focusing on the seagrass with the mouse and left clicking on the seagrass.

Although you have finished the process of cutting down the seagrass after finding it, still you haven’t finished up adding the  seagrass to your space. 

After cutting down the seagrass from the ground, you should collect it from the ground or it can disappear. And then you will have to follow the similar process again. 

So it’s good to pick up the seagrass right after cutting it in order to save it from disappearing. 

Thereby the seagrass will get added on to the inventory in your gameplay. 

It will get visible on the bar present on the bottom of your screen then on. 

3. Adding seagrass to your space

Moving on to the final process of adding seagrass onto your space in Minecraft that is actually adding seagrass to your space itself. 

First of all, go to  the place where  you want to add the seagrass to your gameplay.

Then, selec the space where you actually want to place it. 

After that select the seagrass from the bar present on the bottom of the screen. 

Move on the space where I have decided to place the seagrass. And then add the seagrass there by following the respective steps for placing the seagrass on the  ground in your respective editions.

Java Edition

For adding seagrass to the spot in your home, select the spot and click on the right button of the mouse while the arrow or plus sign directs that spot. 

Pocket Edition

For placing seagrass on any spot in the house or anywhere tap on that spot where you want to place the potted plant. 

Xbox One and Xbox 360

For placing seagrass just select the spot  and then press the L and T buttons on the controller. 

PS3 and PS4 

For placing  seagrass in PS3 and PS4, you  just need to press the button L2 on your controller while pointing at the spot where  you want to add a potted plant. 

Wii U

Wii U users need to hold the buttons Z and L together on their controller while looking at the  spot where they want to add a potted plant. 

Nintendo Switch 

For placing seagrass in Nintendo Switch edition you just need to select the spot in your house and then press the Z and L button for placing the seagrass there. 

Windows 10 and Education Edition

For placing seagrass in any given spot in Windows 10 and Education Edition, we need to press the right button on the mouse while pointing at the required spot.
