A crafting table is a kind of feature in Minecraft  gameplay that allows you to create various items and tools by combining various required elements together. 

You do need to follow the respective steps or  gestures in your devices or editions of Minecraft to open the crafting table there.

As you follow the step in your edition of  Minecraft, a rectangular shaped table opens up on your Minecraft screen in the middle. 

You will notice that the crafting table consists of  two separate sections, where both of them have different roles and appearance. 

The first section or the left side section is  the  initial one, where you place the required items or elements for getting the final product. The  other section or the right side section is the output one, where you collect the finished product. 

The input or the initial section consists of a square box that has nine similar blocks of  equal length and size inside it. The nine similar blocks are arranged in three rows and three columns inside  the  square box, forming a  square of length three blocks. 

The output section on the other hand has a single block inside, which features all of your produced items inside it. Either you get a single product or more products in the crafting table, all of those appear in that single block, situated inside the output section in the crafting table.

This is the exact  same trapped chest for which we followed this  whole process. 

Here, you have successfully created  the  trapped chest in the crafting table. 

Although you have created the trapped chest in  the crafting table by combining the required  item. You won’t be able to use it in your  Minecraft gameplay. As you haven’t added it to the gameplay. 

You do need to follow one last step to add the trapped chest into your gameplay, which is  given below. 

3. Adding the trapped chest

Now that you have created the trapped chest in the crafting table, it’s time that you add it to your gameplay and enjoy the unknowing benefits of having a trapped chest in Minecraft. 

You actually need to place the trapped chest from the output section of the crafting table to  the inventory. 

• Follow the respective steps or gestures in your device or editions of Minecraft to drag the trapped chest from the output  section of the crafting table to the inventory. 

After you place the trapped chest that you acquired in the process that you followed  above, you can use the trapped chest in your Minecraft gameplay for availing its benefit.
