One of the many potions available in Minecraft is a potion of slow falling, which, as the name implies, prevents you from dying from fall damage. This aspect alone makes this potion a vital addition to your consumables arsenal, so here’s how to produce a slow-falling potion in Minecraft.

It is said that it is the landing, not the fall, that kills you. Slow Falling will keep you alive even if you crash-land if you enjoy building at great heights but don’t have the sure-footedness of a mountain goat.

You can easily hop on crops while wearing this affect, and the crops will not be harmed.

How to make a Potion of Slow Falling (4:00) in Minecraft

There is no level II version for Potion of Slow Falling.

What is it that makes Slow Falling (4:00) so great?

• You’ll take no damage when you land because you have an undetectable parachute. If you land on them, neither will your crops.
• You’ll be able to sprint for longer periods of time as well. With the Potion of Slow Falling, a five-block distance is just a short hop for you.

Before we begin making the slow-falling potion, we must first gather the necessary materials

• Nether Wart
• Phantom Membrane
• Blaze Powder
• Blaze Rod
• Cobblestones
• Brewing Stand

Making the Potions

Make Awkward Potions first by inserting Nether Wart and Water Bottles into the Brewing Stand before making Potion of Slow Falling.

• The Blaze rod is the first item you’ll need. It’s used to manufacture Blaze powder, which powers the brewing stand. Blaze rods are dropped by Blaze foes in the Nether if you don’t know how to collect them.

• The next item you’ll need is a Nether Wart, which can be found in the same area as the Blaze Rods, in the Nether, but inside Nether Fortresses. You’ll have to look around for these Nether strongholds, but you’ll eventually locate one, and inside you’ll find the Nether Warts growing.

• To build a water bottle, you’ll need one glass bottle when you receive the Nether Wart. Glass created from sand blocks will be needed to make the glass bottle. With a shovel, you can collect sand from beaches and desert biomes.

• Once you get the sand, you must take it to a furnace to be transformed into glass. When the glass is done cooking, take it and place it inside a crafting table in the pattern illustrated above. Make a water bottle out of the glass bottle by taking it to a water source and filling it up.

• The last ingredient you’ll need to produce a slow-falling potion is a Phantom Membrane. Phantom Membranes can be obtained as a drop from Phantom monsters; however, unlike other hostile mobs, Phantom mobs only spawn at a specified period throughout the night.

We can start producing a potion of slow falling now that we have all of our supplies.

• Place the burning powder in the first slot of your brewing stand to start the process.

• Place the water bottle in the position shown below after adding the blaze powder; you must do this before adding any ingredients to the brewing stand.

• Add the Nether wart to the top slot of the water bottle when it has been placed where we specified, wait for it to melt, and then proceed to the following stage.

• Before you add any other components to the brewing stand, you must first place the bottle. Three potions can be made by combining three water bottles. This is the most potions you can make in a single effort.
