It’s worth noting that if you’re going to use a saddle on a pig, you’ll also need a stick and a carrot to keep it under control. It’s also worth noting that you won’t be able to get your saddle back until the pig has died.

3. Looting Saddles
If you put a saddle on a mob and then kill them, the saddle will drop 100% of the time. The chances of killing a mob that hatched with a saddle are substantially lower. With a looting enchantment, you can boost your chances, but it’s still a slim probability.
While it is uncommon for a mob to abandon its saddle after you kill it, there is one exception. If you kill a ravager, it will almost always lose its saddle. Ravagers only appear during raids on villages.

If you’re looking for a saddle from a mob, you’ll have the most chance of killing a Ravager, because it will always drop a saddle when slain. If you’re looking for something a little more straightforward, killing a Zombified Piglin has an 8.5 percent chance of dropping a saddle.
4.Trading
Trading for saddles isn’t always a guaranteed thing, since you’ll need to locate a villager that is a master-level leatherworker, and even then, they won’t always exchange one. When you trade other products with a lower-level leatherworker town, they will ultimately level up and give you a saddle.
If you are unable to find a village without a leatherworker, make a cauldron and set it in a house without a workstation. If a villager without a job sees it, he or she will become a leatherworker, and you may level them up through trade.
This is one of the simplest ways to get a saddle, especially if you have a lot of Emeralds to spare, as trading with Leatherwork NPCs isn’t cheap. How to utilize your saddle?
You’re ready to ride after you’ve got your saddle. However, which animal should you choose?
Horses, donkeys, and mules are the most apparent choices. Each of these animals may be tamed by repeatedly mounting them until they no longer buck you off; the number of times you must do this is determined at random for each animal. Once they’ve been tamed, you’ll “use” the saddle on them and put it on them.
By getting on the animal and hitting the inventory button, you may reclaim the saddle. It will have its own inventory, from which you can remove the saddle.
