As we have said earlier in the article as well, the process of raiding a village is not that simple as the village too has various protections for stopping an upcoming attack.

Here, we will follow the process of raiding a village in some simple steps, where we will be dealing with the various aspects in the respective steps.

  1. Finding a outpost

Our very first step towards the process of  raiding the village is to find the pillager outpost in the first place.

You cannot simply attack and loot the village in the Minecraft gameplay as there is some protection inside the villages to repulse the outside mobs or players.

A pillager outpost is one such sort of protective  shield that saves the village from various attacks and similar situations. If you do not find a pillager outpost and  simply enter inside the village then you are certainly to be pushed and killed by the mobs present in the pillager outpost.

How to raid in Minecraft?

You can easily find a pillager outpost  at the far end or starting of the village in the  Minecraft gameplay.

A pillager outpost does look like a simple building that normally has brown coloured walls and yellow color seiling. It is quite easy to detect a pillager outpost in the village as there is no other similar building in there.

The below given image represents a pillager outpost lying somewhere in the outside of the village.

A pillager outpost is a kind of structure in the Minecraft gameplay that appears up in the village from time to time. You are most certain to find a pillager outpost in the starting of the village any time you visit it.

You will find  a pillager outpost in every village of the Minecraft gameplay no matter what  biomes you are visiting.

If you are not able to find the pillager outpost in the Minecraft gameplay, then there is one direct way of doing so as well.

You can easily find a pillager outpost by using the respective locate command for finding a pillager outpost. The locate command is  associated with a set structure inside the Minecraft gameplay, where every location or point is included with a name or tag that helps you find the required locations and reach there.

While, the locate command only allows you to detect and find the location of the desired place. The tp command enables you to reach that exact location in the Minecraft gameplay.

So that was about finding the pillager outpost in Minecraft.

Now, our other step towards raiding a villager in Minecraft involves attacking the pillager outpost.

  1. Attacking pillager outpost

After you have found the pillager outpost near  the village that you want to raid. You will have  to attack the pillager outpost first before moving towards the village.

As you move towards the pillager outpost, you will encounter the pillager there. These are the pillager mobs that reside inside the pillager outpost so as to protect it from the invention of  any other mob or player in the Minecraft gameplay.

The pillager mobs are present in a really large number inside the pillager outpost, you need to kill all of them there.

After you have killed the pillager mobs inside the Pillager outpost, you need to kill the leader of the mobs for entering the required village.

The leader of the pillager mob is the one that holds an illegal banner on its head. So by seeing the illegar banner on the head of a pillager mob you can identify the leader of the pillager mob.

So that was about attacking the pillager outpost in Minecraft.

  1. Activating bad omen

After you have found the leader of the pillager mob inside the pillager outpost, you need to kill him there.

As you kill the leader, you will notice that a rectangle window appears on your device or edition of Minecraft. This is the bad omen window, which enables the bad omen effect in the gameplay.

Thereby, you will have to pass the bad omen effect in order to raid the village there.

A bad omen effect enables a series of hostile mobs in the gameplay to attack the player when he/she enters the village to loot it.

You will have to face the hostile mobs as you enter the respective village to raid it.

You cannot enter the village or raid it if you  haven’t activated the bad omen effect in the  Minecraft gameplay.

So that was about activating the bad omen effect in Minecraft.

  1. Entering the village

Now that you have cleared the bad omen effect in the Minecraft gameplay, it is the time to enter the village and begin the respective raid.

You need to find the entrance of the respective village that you want to loot, and begin moving in the direction of it.

As you enter into the village, a raid bar will emerge on your respective Minecraft screen, it will consist of various empty blocks. These  empty blocks will get filled accordingly.

You will notice after some time that the raid bar is completely filled with various items and elements. Thereby, you can enter the  respective village for the beginning of the raid.

A raid horn will be blown in the background, which conveys that the raid is about to begin. In the first phase, some of the hostile mobs, and other players will attack the village. As you defeat them the other mobs also arrive after that. All this will be shown within the raid bar, present on the Minecraft screen.

The war horn or the raid horn is blown by the pillager mobs in the Minecraft gameplay. It  helps the players in knowing the actual location of the mobs for fighting them. The war horn is blown every 2 to 3 minutes, so as to show you the location of the remaining mob. You cannot listen to this war horn properly, if you do not use a stereo headphone or surround speakers.

Here, you must run towards the village from the respective pillager outpost, so that you get  some time for yourself before fighting the mobs and other  players in the gameplay.

Now, you are all set to enter the village and get the various required items from there.

So that was about entering the village in Minecraft.

  1. Kill the raiders

As you enter the village after the raid horn has been blown and the raid bar has been filled with icons of the various elements.

Here, you will encounter a group of pillager mobs and other mobs in the village after the raid horn has been blown.

You need to kill the respective mobs and other creatures in there to complete the raid.

After you have killed the mobs in the village, you will notice that the raid bar, present on your  Minecraft screen has evacuated some elements from the bar.

Actually, the raid bar shows the various mobs  and creatures that  are supposed to attack you inside the village during the raid.

As you kill the mobs in the village, the number of elements inside the bar also decreases accordingly.

Thereafter, some other pillager mobs, ravagers, vindicators, evaders, witches and other mobs will rush towards the village. You need to defeat and kill them as  well, then only you would be  able to finish the raid.

As you kill them, the raid bar decreases the various elements from the bar. Now you will notice that the number of elements in the gameplay has reached a minimum level. Only few elements will be enlisted inside the raud var, present on your Minecraft screen.

You need to follow this thing until the whole raud bar is emptied.

As the raid bar gets cleared of the various elements, the raid also ends thereby.

Hence, the village will be cleared of all the mobs in the village.

Now, you can trade with the traders inside the village in the Minecraft gameplay for getting various useful tools and items.

Thereby, you will be given the hero of the village effect in the village.

Thus, allowing you to get an extra discount on all the deals that you make with  the traders in the village.

So that was all about raising the village in Minecraft.
