Smooth Stone is a building block in Minecraft that may be used to make simple crafting recipes. It can also be used for decorative purposes and to create a smooth texture. Minecraft allows users to construct bases and residences. The smooth stone has minimal to no texture and no color variation. Cities, towers, and a variety of other constructions can be built using it. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to make a smooth stone in Minecraft.
To manufacture smooth stone in Minecraft, you’ll need to have access to a furnace, gather fuel (coal or wood), then load it into the furnace with cobblestone. This will give you regular stone; all you have to do now is set it in the furnace, and it will turn into the smooth stone you desire!
How to make the smooth stone in Minecraft
Items Required
You’ll first need to collect the following items in order to start crafting our first smooth stone in Minecraft.
- A Furnace
- Cobblestone
Crafting a Furnace
To make a Furnace from the ground up, players just need two items:
- Cobblestone
- Crafting Table
A Crafting table is constructed completely of tree block planks. Four planks are required to make a crafting table in Minecraft.
It is best to manufacture a wooden pickaxe after constructing a crafting table to aid in the mining of Cobblestones. Players can manufacture a wooden pickaxe by producing plank sticks and then assembling three planks and two sticks in the manner illustrated above.
To create a Furnace, players must first make a Pickaxe and then mine cobblestone blocks until they have 8 of them.
We’ll want to put our Furnace on the ground or wherever you want it in your base/home after we’ve received it. We’ll need fuel for the furnace, so either get some coal or chop down some trees and place them in the furnace’s bottom section.
Burn Cobblestones
Then we’ll need some Cobblestone once again. Put it in the Furnace’s top empty box, and it should start working its magic!
Convert the Stone to a Smooth Stone
You’ll get a normal Stone as a result of this. That wasn’t exactly what we were looking for, but we’re on the right route. Make as much of that Stone as you need for the smooth version, then place it in the Furnace where the Cobblestone was! This will then burn through once more, giving you the Smooth Stone you’ve been waiting for!
Smooth Stone can also be obtained in a variety of other methods.
Touch of Silk
Stone may be mined using a pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch to obtain standard Stone.
Smooth Stone may be found within several houses in the many settlements found around the map. It’s also possible that it’ll appear in mason chests in villages.
Making Stone Slabs That Are Smooth
If you’re wondering how to produce some Smooth Stone Slabs out of that new material, it’s actually rather simple! Return to your Crafting Table and place three Smooth Stones at the bottom of each of the boxes.
You’ll earn some Smooth Stone Slabs once you’ve done that! You’ll earn six slabs for every three Smooth Stones you utilise.
The Blast Furnace is pretty much the only recipe that requires Smooth Stone to make. Five Iron Ingots, a Furnace, and three Smooth Stones are required. The Blast Furnace smelts ore blocks twice as quickly as a conventional Furnace! It’s handy for swiftly producing a large number of ingots.
