The first section contains two blank boxes that’s where you need to place  the items or tools for enchanting.

The second section contains a list of various enchantments that you can use to enchant the item or tool. The enchantment does depend upon the levels or experiences of the players, you can only use or choose certain enchantments from the list that are permitted by the Minecraft based on your experience level.

Now that we have opened  the enchanting table in our respective devices on additions of Minecraft. So we can begin the actual process of opening the enchanting table in Minecraft here.

  1. Adding the items

Here, in this step, we will solely be considering the process of  adding the various required items to the respective blocks in the first  section of the enchanting table.

We will be needing the items that will be required for enchanting. We will consider some of the items here for performing the  enchanting process.

Suppose, we start with 3 lapis lazuli for enchanting them in the enchanting table on our respective devices or editions of Minecraft.

Apart from three lapis lazuli, we will also be  needing an item that we will be enchanting inside the enchanting table.

So, in all you will be needing three lapis lazulis and the required item or tool for following the  enchanting process.

Let us consider enchanting an ax in the enchanting table by following the steps given below.

  • First of all, place the axe in the first  blank block, present on the first section of the enchanting table by  following the  respective step or  gestures in your  device. You can place the axe by selecting it from the inventory.

As we have discussed in the earlier process, the enchanting table does contain two blank boxes inside the first section. In one blank box you have added the axe, and in the other one you need to add the lapis lazulis.

  • Add the three lapis lazulis in the second blank box on the first section of the enchanting table by following the respective process.

Here, you have added the axe  and lapis  lazulis to the first section of the enchanting table.

Now  that we have finished the required step involved with enchanting the item in the first  section. Let us move towards the process of adding the enchantment on the second section.

  1. Adding the Enchantment

As we said earlier as well, the second  section of the enchanting table in Minecraft contains the enchantments that  are  to  be added to the selected item in the Minecraft  gameplay.

Here is the thing with the enchantments that you need to know before moving further. The given enchantments contain a  specific number on top of them. This number given on the top of the given enchantment refers to the experience level, which you should be  possessing so as to use that  enchantment.

That means, if you do not possess the required experience level, associated with a particular enchantment then you would not be able to use it.

There, you will see that the first enchantment has a 7 number on top of it, the second enchantment has 18 numbers on top of it, and the third enchantment has 30 numbers on top ift. Which means that you will be  needing  7 experience levels for using the first enchantment,  18 experience levels for using the second enchantment, and 30 experience levels for using the third enhancement respectively.

Well, you can also gain the experience levels  in Minecraft gameplay by killing the mobs, when you kill a mob you do get some experience levels. You can also increase your experience levels in the Minecraft gameplay by running the  /xp command on your  respective devices or editions of Minecraft.

  •  Select one enchantment for adding it  to the required item by clicking or tapping on it in your respective devices.

There, you  will notice that the  three lapis lazulis that we have placed earlier have  disappeared. And  the  enchantments have been added to the required item or tool. You will also notice some change in the appearance of that item or tool.

Here, you have finally added the  enchantments to that item in the enchanting table.

So that was  all about using enchanting an item in the enchanting table in Minecraft.
