How to make a Potion of Regeneration (1:30) in Minecraft

In Minecraft, you may produce a variety of potions. They can assist you in causing additional damage or healing yourself. Potions have been around in Minecraft for a long time and were implemented as part of the 0.12.1 release. They can be incredibly useful and are frequently required to complete tasks. When fighting the Ender Dragon or exploring the End, slow-falling potions are incredibly useful. When journeying into the Nether, fire resistance potions are quite useful. To beat the Guardian and explore an Ocean Monument, you’ll need water-breathing potions.

When facing opponents or mobs who are stronger than you, the Potion of Regeneration comes in handy. While it does not harm your opponent, it does allow you to regenerate for a short amount of time. Regardless of how full your hunger bar is, you will heal significantly faster as a result of this. It may be coupled with Gunpowder, Redstone, and Blaze Powder, like with other potions, to make it even more helpful.

How to make a Potion of Regeneration (1:30) in Minecraft

The Potion of Regeneration is a very useful potion that gives Minecraft players the ability to regenerate. Over the extended course of  1 minute 30 seconds, this status effect heals half the heart of an entity’s health every 2.5 seconds.

While food-based health sources like apples and steaks only increase the player’s health when their hunger bar is full, these potions disregard that characteristic. The effects of the potion affect every mob in Minecraft, including the player, animal mobs, and other neutral/passive mobs.

While they function on undead mobs like zombies and skeletons, the potion’s effect is reversed. This means that any undead mob afflicted with a healing potion, such as the Potion of Regeneration or the Potion of Healing, will be damaged rather than healed. On the other hand, a Potion of Harming heals these mobs while damaging passive creatures and players.

A Potion of Regeneration can be used to prepare for clashes against huge groups of enemies or powerful hostile creatures like the wither and the ender dragon. Players fighting blazes in Nether fortresses or piglin brutes in the Nether can benefit from the potions as well. You can make a Potion of Regeneration (1:30) that lasts longer than a typical Potion of Regeneration in Minecraft (0:45). This potion gives you the Regeneration effect for 1 minute and 30 seconds after you drink it.

Now that you know about Potion of Regeneration (1:30), let’s discuss making it.

Items required to make a Potion of Regeneration (1:30)

First of all, to brew potions in Minecraft, one requires a Brewing Stand.

Making brewing stands is as simple as opening the 3×3 grid-based crafting area and combining the required items. Fill the second row with three cobblestones, then set a flaming rod in the first row’s center. Simply click and drag the rails into your inventory.

To make a potion of regeneration, you will need the following materials:

  • One Redstone Dust

Redstone Dust may be obtained by breaking Redstone Blocks that can be found underground in the Overworld. It can be broken with a pickaxe made of iron or higher. Each Redstone block can drop 4-5 Redstone Dust.

Redstone Dust can also be discovered on the traps of Jungle Temples, which players can disarm and retrieve by breaking them with their hands. Redstone Dust can be found in Dungeons, Mineshafts, Strongholds, Villages, and Woodland Mansions chests.

When witches are killed, they have a chance to drop 0-2 Redstone dust. Redstone Dust is also sold by cleric villagers for Emeralds.

  • One Potion of Regeneration (0:45)

You’ll need Ghast Tear, Water Bottle, Nether Wart, and Blaze Powder to brew this potion. Using the brewing stand, you will be able to prepare a regeneration potion (0:45). To get a potion of regeneration, go to the brewing stand and light ghast tear and awkward potion on fire (0:45). The awkward potion is made by placing Water Bottle on the stand.

  • One Blaze Powder

To keep your brewing stand running, you’ll need blaze powder. Without fuel, the brewing stand will be unable to brew potions. Placing a Blaze Rod in the crafting interface will allow you to make Blaze Powder.

Directions to make a Potion of Regeneration (0:45)

  1. Firstly collect all the required items.
  1. When you have all the items, open the Brewing Stand.
  1. To begin, put the blazing powder in your Brewing stand’s left cell. It will automatically transform into the stand’s fuel.
  1. Fill the bottommost cell of the Brewing Stand interface with a Water Bottle. Place a Redstone Dust in your brewing stand’s ingredient slot and wait for it to complete cooking.

The bubbles will turn white, and the arrow will turn white to demonstrate progress, indicating that the brewing process has begun. You’ll hear a “glug glug glug” sound when the brewing process is over, and the Redstone dust will vanish.
