How to make oak stairs in Minecraft

Well, we all know that Minecraft is  all about creating unique and awe inspiring designs, be it producing farmland or houses or landscapes or much more. Some of the most creative designs have even crossed the line of  creativity. I mean they are so interesting and fascinating that you cannot limit it to a certain standard.

Oak stairs are building materials that we use to  build houses or shelters, but the interesting thing is that you can also make this building material in Minecraft. Yeah like, you can actually make or craft it in Minecraft.

In this blog, we will be looking at the process of creating oak stairs in Minecraft?

How to make oak stairs in Minecraft

You cannot simply steal or pick up oak stairs from somewhere in Minecraft. You can create or make them in the crafting table. That is  the  place from where you get to create different kinds of stuff, whether it is a loom, a pot or a banner, and a lot more.

Before we move on to the actual process of making or creating oak stairs in Minecraft, let us know about the different editions of Minecraft that do allow you to create oak stairs. There are a number of editions that support you in creating oak stairs. Let’s get a quick look at them before we begin the process, so as to  be  sure that the edition that we are using really supports that kind of stuff or not.

Here are the following editions of Minecraft that support the process of adding oak stairs to your inventory in Minecraft.

Java Edition

Pocket Edition

Xbox 360

Xbox One

PS3

PS4

Wii U

Nintendo Switch

Windows 10 Edition

Education Edition

Now that we have known the editions that do support the process of adding oak stairs to our gameplay in Minecraft. Let’s move on to the process of actually creating it there.

  1. Opening Craft table

Our very first step towards creating oak stairs involves opening the Craft table at first. Cause it’s the place where it all will begin.

Follow the command on your respective device and Minecraft edition to open the Craft table.

After you have opened the crafting table on your device, you will see that the crafting table is divided into two segments.

The first one, is where you put all the required material for creating something, it is basically the input center.

Whereas the second one is the final output segment, whatever you produce in the crafting table appears in this segment.

The input segment consists of a square having 9 blocks, arranged in 3×3, 3 columns and 3  rows. It just appears to be a  face of the Rubik’s cube.

The output segment only consists of a single  block. Where all the results seem to appear. Whether they are four pieces or ten pieces, they all appear inside this single  block.

Now that you have opened the crafting table, it’s time to put the required materials in there and get the final product.

Before we move to the further steps, let’s get a look at the required materials that we need to add to the crafting table for getting oak stairs.

For crafting oak stairs in the crafting table, we will need the following items.

  • 6 oak planks

6 oak planks are all you need to create oak stairs.

Now that we have known the required materials, let us get back to the process of making oak stairs.

  1. Arranging oak planks

Our next step involves arranging the oak planks inside the crafting table.

We need to understand one thing here, that the  order of arranging the materials in the crafting table is a crucial step. If you misplace the arrangement of oak stairs in the crafting table then you would not be able to produce  the final result.

You need to follow  the exact same arrangement that is described in the steps given below.

For crafting oak stairs, arrange the oak planks in such an order that the three oak planks acquire all the three positions in the first column of the square box, and the two oak planks acquire the second and third position in the second column of the square box. And the remaining one oak plank acquires the third position in the third column of the square box.

Or, we can say that one oak plank is placed in the first position of the first layer, two oak planks are placed in the first and second positions of  the second layer in the square box, and three oak planks are placed in all three positions of the last layer.

After we place the oak planks in the order given below, you will notice  that the oak stair is  visible to us in the final segment of the crafting table.

There will be 4 oak stairs in the final segment of the crafting table. That means we will get 4 oak plants by combining the 6 oak planks in  the crafting table.

This is something that you should keep in my mind when you are crafting oak stairs from oak planks in Minecraft. That you will get 4 oak  stairs by giving 6 oak planks, remember the ratio and calculation when you are aiming for some extra oak stairs.

Now that you have finally created the oak stairs, it’s time for the final step.

  1. Adding oak stairs to inventory

Now that we have crafted the oak stairs in the inventory, still we won’t be able to use these oak stairs in the gameplay, as we haven’t moved them to the inventory

Here all we need to do is to finish the process and those oak stairs to the inventory.

Follow the simple gestures on our device for placing the four oak stairs from the output segment in the crafting table to the inventory.

After that we will be able to use them in our gameplay wherever we want.

Here we have finally created and then added  the oak stairs to our inventory in Minecraft.

So that was all about creating oak stairs and adding them to your gameplay in Minecraft.

Now let us get a quick look at the whole process that we followed above.

Summary

Oak stairs are building blocks that we use to build a  proper staircase for the home. We can easily create one such oak stair in the crafting table, we will need to have 6 oak planks in your inventory so as to produce oak stairs. First of all we need to open the oak stairs in our device. Then we need to arrange them in a proper order. Such as the three oak planks occupie the three positions of the last level. The two occupie the first and second position of the second layer, and a single oak plank occupies the first position of the first level.

There, the oak stair  will appear in the output segment of the crafting table. Now we need to move it to the inventory.
