Putting a saddle on the horse
Mount the horse first, then use the following commands to select a saddle from your Hotbar:

Drag the saddle up to the saddle box to the left of the horse image from the Inventory area. You can also raise the horse armor by dragging it up. The horse image should be updated to include a saddled horse.

You can ride the horse now, and control its movements as you have it saddled but remember you can only ride a horse and won’t be able to control it if you do not have a saddle on.
